Buses:
London Buses have been diverted away from the Carnival area throughout the event.
If people want information about diversions and routes they should be directed
to the nearest Police/Crime Reporting Centre. Buses do not run to a timetable
at Carnival. The buses are stacked up in Elgin Avenue which is
the extension of Great Western Road, north of Harrow Road; and will run as soon
as they are full. They will continue running as long as the demand continues.
Tubes:
There are number of Tube Stations within or near the Carnival area.
(see map for details.) The public should be advised to use Latimer Road
(Metropolitan Line), Holland Park (Central Line), Notting Hill Gate (Central Lines)
Bayswater (District/Circle) and advised against using Westbourne Park Station,
especially on Monday as it gets very congested.
Ladbroke Grove Station is closed during the event.
